About us
About Us
While it is appropriate and easily comprehensible to describe the mode of operation of ‘Hong Kong Dance Research’ as ‘organisation’, ‘team’ or ‘group’, when one revisits the intention that brings the three initiators together, ‘Hong Kong Dance Research’ is to be regarded as the manifestation of comradeship. Chan Wai-ki Felix, Lee Hoi-yin Joanna, and Wong Chung-yu Eveline#, three practitioners in the field of culture who have been engaged in the dance circle in different manners, are comrades of the passion for promoting diversified conversations, beyond those transaction-related, between Hong Kong’s and the world’s dance. The threesome explores possibilities of projects in all scales and formats, hoping to attract like-minders to join us in the building of a community. ‘Hong Kong Dance Research’ aspires to become a ‘site’ where people gather. They appear as agents of change.
